Un people comprises of 45 of 200 crops of individuals extracted from the background of every photograph that I have ever taken. The separated frames are rearranged from the original lineage in which they were shot and re-catergorised by locations and expressions.
By removing each person away from the protagonist of the original shot, the viewer is able to examine closely the individual portraits, setting up a strange one to one relationship between the viewer and the viewed, emphasising the punctuating sense of loss as we pass strangers.
