Hayley Louise Goodsell
Hayley Louise Goodsell is a photographer, writer, film-maker and self confessed collector. Her work deals with aspects of privacy, intrusion and the observation of other people’s personal histories. Fascinated by the interface between our public lives and our private selves she takes note of the people and places around her, documenting intimate, everyday scenarios.

Making use of found things; recorded conversations, papers, photographs, and diaries, Hayley compiles fragments of someone’s life and creates a new history for a person. She is currently based in Leeds.

"Hayley Louise Goodsell's amazing projects are rooted in a powerful sense of curiosity and wonder towards the people we share the world with. Her work is joyous, surprising, and endlessly captivating."
